I’m Vanessa – a retail manager by day (and night), blogger, photographer and Etsy shop owner. I reside in a small town near upstate New York.

I have always loved art and decided to start up a small photography business in 2010. Since then I have also created my blog, Vanilla and Rose, and my Vanilla and Rose Shop on Etsy. I enjoy blogging and will rant about anything from makeup to random facts. I always shoot with a Canon camera (either my first Rebel or T1i) and live for all Mac items (Macbook, Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone…)
